Two arrested for November home invasion

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Two women are arrested for a home invasion that ended in a family held at gunpoint.

26-year-old Precious Tamayo and 26-year-old Lisa Jones are behind bars for their alleged involvement in a home invasion.

Rockford police say Tamayo, Jones and a third person allegedly broke into a home in the 500 block of North Horsman around7 a.m. on November 27.

Investigators believe the three held a father, mother and child at gunpoint while they stole items from the home and fled afterward. They say one of the home invaders is related to the victims.

Tamayo and Jones are considered innocent until proven guilty.
