Teen commits suicide after school asked about sex video

CHICAGO, Ill., (AP) -- A suburban Chicago teen committed suicide just hours after being questioned by school officials about a sex video he made.

Corey Walgren's death in January is now the subject of a lawsuit filed by his parents.

They have sued Naperville North High School, accusing it of traumatizing their son by telling him that footage of him having sex with a classmate could lead to criminal charges and require him to register as a sex offender for life.

The suicide of the honor-roll student also raises a high-stakes question because many child pornography laws predate the phenomena of teens sharing sexual images by cellphone.
