ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art similar to karate. It not only teaches physical fighting, but also how to discipline our minds. It’s now become a global practice and is an Olympic sport.
“It’s not just the physical part, it’s a lot of mental workout too because that’s most important than any exercise. People need to learn how to be focused. You get a great result not just kicking and punching. No, we do a lot of focusing and discipline other ways too. That gives you a better workout than just not thinking,” says certified World Tae Kwon Do Federation member, Yong Kim.
