Stop N Go robbed at gunpoint in Janesville

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WIFR) -- A Stop N Go store was robbed at gunpoint earlier this morning in Janesville, Wisconsin.

On November 9, 2017 , at around 1:30 a.m., the Janesville Police Department responded to an armed robbery report at the Stop N Go store at 714 Center Avenue.

The clerk told officers that he was robbed at gunpoint by a black female. He described her as being 5'3" to 5'6" tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, purple socks, thin black sweatpants and grey slippers.

The suspect left the store in a westbound direction with an undisclosed amount of cash and Newport 100 cigarettes.

The Rock County Sheriff's deputies assisted by providing a K9 to track the suspect, which has not been located yet. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.
