ROSCOE, Ill. (WIFR) -- Thousands of people took advantage of the nice weather Saturday afternoon to check out the 22nd annual RORO Expo held at the Roscoe Middle School.
The expo gives small businesses the chance to showcase their products and services while connecting with residents. Those in attendance enjoyed live music performances and food from local vendors. Organizers say the goal of the expo is to support locally-owned small businesses while also creating a fun, family-oriented environment.
“With RORO, we have events going on the stage. We have a variety of different businesses obviously throughout the entire stateline region and we're big supporters of local businesses and that's what this event is about. Getting people here, get them together, see who's in the area and try and keep it local,” said Michael Prosser, the Chairman for the RORO Expo.
The RORO Expo continues Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Roscoe Middle School. Admission is free.
