ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Four Rockford teens are arrested after neighbors call the police to report a man with a shotgun.
Rockford police say they were called to the 1600 block of 10th Avenue just before 6 p.m. Monday where people were reporting a man with a shotgun.
On the way to the scene, investigators learned the suspect left the area in a silver vehicle driving toward 12th Avenue. They were able to find the car and pull it over near the intersection of 11th Street and 13th Avenue.
The four teens including 18-year-old Baranor Douthard, 19-year-old Brian Price, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were arrested when police searched the car and found a loaded shotgun inside.
All four are charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, violation of FOID and defacing identification marks on a firearm. The 15-year-old boy is also charged with possession of cannabis.
All four are considered innocent until proven guilty.
