DEKALB, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Rockford man dies following a two car crash last night in Dekalb County.

The Dekalb County Coroner pronounced 22-year old Lee Mabins Jr. dead at the scene following the two car crash around 6:30 p.m. Investigators say Mabins was a passenger in the car driven by 33-year old Jimmy Lewis who police believe didn’t stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Twombly and Nelson Roads when their car collided with a second car headed south on Nelson.

The drivers of both cars were transported to Kishwaukee Community Hospital to be treated. Lewis was cited for not stopping.
