ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- The Rock River Valley Blood Center is asking for blood donations, saying they only have enough supply of some blood types for half a day.
Due to slow donor traffic, the blood center is in need of all blood types, especially O positive, B positive, and A negative. Donors can give at any of the RRVBC's four locations or at a mobile blood drive. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 with parental consent and weight at least 110 pounds.
