Natural Choice breaks grounds on new building

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A water business that was launched out of a family’s basement 20 years ago is now expanding bringing 30 full-time jobs to the Stateline.

Natural Choice Corporation manufactures water filtration systems for offices and homes. They’re building a new 50,000 square foot, $6 million building at I-90 and East Riverside. The business has grown so much that they now need an even bigger space than the factory and warehouse they’re currently renting in Rockford.

“The city of Loves Park’s been extraordinary to work with. We’re looking forward to growing this business park and really leveraging the development of the hospital with this corridor. We’re going to have a lot of announcements coming in the next year so stay tuned,” says Ryan Fitzgerald, President of Spring Creek Development Group.

The building is expected to be complete by the end of May 2018. They hope to double in size over the next five years.
