ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – If we are looking for a workout that strengthens and reduces stress, Les Mills Body Flow class may help.
Body Flow combines yoga with tai chi to help increase our flexibility and core strength while reducing stress levels. Instructors focus on controlled breathing, concentration, and stretching to music. The class welcomes both men and women.
“At most gyms you find a lot of people lifting weights and doing cardio, and this balances those two out. So, especially if you are always contracting your muscles, it’s important to do the opposite and stretch it out,” says Group Fitness Instructor Susan Griffith.
