Juveniles arrested following vandalism at Rockford auto business

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Two juveniles are arrested in connection with the vandalism of several cars at Stateline Auto Sunday.

Rockford police say officers were called to the business around 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Lee Street.

Investigators say 15 vehicles had been damaged causing thousands of dollars in damages.

Two Rockford boys, one 17-years-old and the other 12-years-old, were arrested and charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and criminal damage to property.

Both were taken to the Winnebago County Juvenile Detention Center and investigators say they are looking into the possibility of the boys being connected to other incidents at the business.

Both are considered innocent until proven guilty.
