Corky Siegel plays at Klehm Arboretum

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Klehm Arboretum's "Ravinia" style Woodsong Music Series continued tonight with Corky Siegel as the headliner.

Corky Siegel along with Rockford native, Randy Sabien played in front of about 300 people at Klehm Arboretum this evening. Siegel has the reputation of one of the world's great blues harmonica players. It has been over nine years since the pair was in the stateline, making the concert highly anticipated.

"Our Woodsong series is really a member-based thing. It's really one of the valued things for our membership. But it's also just bringing good music to the Rock River Valley and just enjoying our beautiful grounds,” said executive director of Klehm Arboretum, Dan Riggs.

Klehm Arboretum's woodsong concert series is held on the third Sunday of June, July and August this summer.
