UNDATED (WIFR) – Brides-to-be across the country are scrambling to get their dresses after a popular bridal retailer shutdown stores nationwide.
Alfred Angelo Bridal shut down stores nationwide on Thursday and is reportedly filing for bankruptcy. Brides and bridesmaids were contacted and told to get their dresses immediately.
Fairlady Bridal in Janesville, which carries Alfred Angelo dresses, says they have been receiving calls from brides worried about their dresses. The company says they have been in contact with Alfred Angelo to try to figure out how this will impact brides and their business.
Castronovo's Bridal on North Main Street in Rockford also carries Alfred Angelo. They tell 23 News that they have been working with the company to get dresses in for brides and bridesmaids as soon as possible.
