BBB Warning About Online Shopping

By  |

STATELINE (WIFR) – The Better Business Bureau says buyers should be careful when shopping online.

Dennis Horton from the BBB says to make online purchases using a credit card since most companies won’t allow shops to charge your card until the product is on its way to you. If the card is charged, the credit card company can easily remove those charges.

They also say make sure you get a tracking number for your items and make sure the business has a number where you can contact them. You can always check if a business is legitimate at the BBB’s website.
