Sabrina joined WIFR as a producer in April 2015 before becoming a reporter and fill-in anchor in fall of 2015.

Sabrina Bennett started her career at WIFR as a producer and then moved her way up to reporter and fill-in anchor. Sabrina has always had a passion for meeting new people and sharing their stories. She takes pride in her job as a journalist which gives her the opportunity to be the voice for those in the community who don’t have one. You can catch her as the city council reporter or out in the field covering stories that matter most to Stateliners.

Sabrina is from San Antonio Texas. GO SPURS GO! She studied at San Antonio College for Radio Television and Film before graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. While in college she interned at WGN News in Chicago and also at another Rockford station. She is also an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

When she is not reporting she loves spending time with her husband and two dogs Benny and Butters.
