ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Thanks to generous contributions from anonymous donors all Rockford public school graduations will take place in the MetroCentre this year. You may remember the district originally had plans to hold graduation in Rockford First Church. The RAVE board says basic costs are paid for, but the district will have to provide some volunteers to help with the events.

What is wrong with having graduation ceremonies at the school the students graduate from?

So with all the tax dollars that go to the metro centre and the new management there, do they "give" anything back to the community or is it just about how much they can get from us. How about at least free parking during graduation events?

Can't you take a more recent photo of the Metrocenter? It hasn't been orange for a few years.
