MT. MORRIS -- The Pinecrest Community will sponsor a Meet and Greet opportunity on Tuesday, July 27 at 10 a.m. to welcome Howell Herman, the new Director of Pinecrest Village Apartments and cottages. In June of this year, Mr. Herman took over the duties of the previous director, Mary Jane Warkins, who retired.

Pinecrest Village is located at 408 S. McKendrie Street in Mt. Morris. The senior living facility was constructed in 1987 for independent living. Residents purchase their apartments and pay a monthly fee that includes 1 meal per day (2 optional) in the Village’s private dining room, maintenance of the apartments and grounds, and all utilities except electric and telephone. The facility’s on-site management offers a variety of programs, trips and activities. Pinecrest Village is located within the Pinecrest Community campus of senior living and care facilities.

Mr. Herman is a resident of Mt. Morris. He attended local Mt. Morris schools and Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He lived for many years in Chicago where his career developed in real estate and management. Come say hello and visit the best senior living complex in Ogle County.
