Rockford teachers will not strike and school will begin as scheduled.

Rockford teachers met Sunday afternoon at Guilford High School to vote on a tentative agreement reached last week. The three year contract was approved 806 to 10. It includes a three percent increase to base salaries every year as well as in increase of health care premiums. While they say no contract is perfect, teachers are optimistic after the vote.
