I am highly interested in this opportunity. It is really hard to find some job during the economical recession. However I am wondering if I have seen this article not too late because it is almost 5 months old. I was working in the web application development sector however because of economic crisis, I was thrown away to the street. I am wondering if I'll be able to work as a firefighter without proper education? I think I am quite brave and I would try to make my work done as well as possible. I think many of us were dreaming to be a firefighters or policemen or astronauts in the childhood. Now these dreams can come true. Thanks for the article by the way. Without you I would never find out that such an opportunity exists.

Everyone is saying "didnt we just lay off do to the economy". The story behind us hiring is that the fire department has gone through there list and its time to get a new one. You will apply then get your name on the list and if they fire department needs someone then they will pull the first person and ask them if they are still interested. If they are they get the job if not then it goes to the second person on the list.
