Shopping Spree Is A Wish Come True For Rockford Girl
Christmas comes early today for one little girl in Rockford. She was given unlimited access to play and grab whatever she wanted inside a toy store. It was a big wish granted by Santa's little helpers and The Make A Wish Foundation.

Latizah Brewer turns seven years old today, and she spent it like a true princess, arriving by limousine to Toys R Us. Latizah is battling cystic fibrosis, a chronic disease that affects her lungs and digestive system. The Make A Wish Foundation chose to grant Latizah wish to go on a shopping spree. She toured all the aisles grabbing her favorites. It included Hannah Montana , Barbie dolls, books, and Eazy-bake Oven.

"It was fun. Lots of toys, Montana, and my size Barbie," said Latizah. David Gomel, wish granter says, "To have one day with no limitation where its all about you is pretty deserving and incredible opportunity."

Latizah shopping spree didn't end at Toys R Us, from there she went to Burlington Coat Factory, and Old Navy. The entire family enjoyed lunch at Applebee's, met Santa at CherryVale Mall, and made a final trip to Walmart. The birthday girl is back home now, after spending her day just like she wished.
