Twenty-three year old Jennifer Bland was arrested last month for allegedly having sexual contact with six students ages 13 to 17. The Durand School Board voted last night to fire the Spanish teacher, effective immediately. The district says it's cooperating with the Winnebago County Sheriff's and the state's attorney offices in their ongoing criminal investigation on Bland.
