• Primary Attendees will be “Boomerangers” - young professionals (late 20s, early 30s) who were born & raised in Rockford but moved away for college or other professional opportunities.

• Secondary Attendees will be local citizens looking for a career change.

• The event is held over Thanksgiving weekend because Boomerangers are back in town for the holiday, visiting family and friends and possibly considering a move back to the Rockford region.

• This is an exceptional opportunity for area companies to add young, professional talent to grow their business while also building the region’s workforce by bringing back hometown professionals.

• Jobapalooza will be held from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, November 24, at Giovanni’s Restaurant & Convention Center on Bell School Road in Rockford.

• Jobapalooza is the centerpiece of LiveBig Weekend, a collaborative effort to showcase the professional and lifestyle amenities and benefits Rockford offers.
