      <title>Lydia Urban Academy 2nd Annual Night of Many Dances</title>
      <link>http://www.wifr.com/community/events/250769361.html</link>
      <description>LYDIA  Urban Academy is proud to host its second annual Night of Many Dances Fundraiser, a unique event open to the entire community.  As you may know, LYDIA Urban Academy is a non-traditional, Christian high school in our community that helps high school students who were considered “failures” in other schools.  Our students find success and hope for their lives through academics, character education, life-skills training, mentoring, and work readiness.  The fundraiser itself celebrates our community’s diversity, our uniqueness and our connection with each other.  Our event is scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, at Giovanni’s Restaurant  in Rockford.  &#xD;
&#xD;
The scholarships provided by last year’s fundraiser gave students a second chance to achieve success in earning their diploma, while equipping them with the skills to be contributing members of this great community! Along with fantastic entertainment, the evening will highlight current and former students who have life changing stories to share!</description>
