Radiation and Our Environment: Separating Fact from Fiction, presented by Dr. Richard Ross, RVC Professor of Physics. Radiation in our environment varies widely by source – from cell phones to power lines, by type of exposure – from microwave to gamma ray, and by biological effect. This presentation will clarify myths and describe recent studies on the biological effects of radiation in our environment.
All lectures are open to the public and free of charge. Refreshments will also be served 30 minutes prior to each lecture start time.
