MAG is excited to bring Sandra Bacon who is a classically trained and versatile artist for two informative sessions on August 16th. Sandra is a working artist though Golden Artist Colors for the North Central Region. She is known both for her paintings and drawings on paper as well as an experienced muralist. She will be presenting a morning and afternoon session titled: Mixed Media Fest. Unravel the mystery of acrylic paints in this hands-on workshop. Using modern and traditional methods, we will scribe, stencil, imprint, extrude and more to create an array of interesting textures. We will also use gels and grounds to explore surfaces on which to draw and paint. Everything from thin glazes to lush impastos we will explore a variety of surfaces. Please note a discount given when signing up for both sessions. Lunch is on your own. $25 MAG Member/$35 Non-Member for morning session.
