Is there any way to research what the anticipated humidity levels for this area during May thru August of 2008? Are there any websites that could help me with this? I'm needing this information for a construction project i'm working on. Need your help! Thanks! Dana Replogle

Guys, help me understand something. Why are the weather predictions you provide for precipitation so off. I can pretty much tell when it's going to rain by your forecast. If you say it's going to rain tonight, well, you better count on this afternoon. When you predict rain in the afternoon 1 or 2 pm, I can count on rain by 10 am. It sounds like I'm ripping you, but I would like to understand why your forecasts are always later than when it actually happens. I don't expect you to answer a critical comment, but I would like to know. Sincerely David

Just a suggestion...I watch the weather every morning when I'm getting ready for work and more times than not I miss the blerp about the current days forecast. I aleays seem to catch it when you say "and heres 's your weather for the next seven days".The problem is you don't include the weather for the current day which is always my immediate concern ? When you show the 7 day forecast could you please include todays weather in that 7 days ? Thanks much... P.S. I have heard this comment from several of my co-workers also...

It is very hard to plan work to be done on my house when your forecast has been incorrect the past 2 days.

It's time for the mold and pollen index to be shown again. Thanks

Blah-blah-blah.....that's all I hear until you get done talking about fronts and tropical storms and start talking about the temperature and the chance of precipitation! How about dressing the part--galoshes and umbrella if it is going to rain, parka and mittens if it will snow, and bathing suit and margurita if we finally will have a great sunny warm day???!!!

Dear Mr. Henderson Your April Fool's joke was not funny and in bad taste. Maybe you need some lessons from those two clowns on your morning show. You know the two Dummy and Dummier. Maybe they should change your station's call letters from WIFR to MORONS. Nevrtheless your joke was the final straw. I'm changing channels

Posted by: Brenda Location: Belvidere
I'm trying to find out how much snow Belvidere got yesterday. I can't find it anywhere! I don't even see a total for Rockford on the websites I've looked. I know one of the newcasts last night said Rockford got 10.6", but I know there's a big spread over the area. Thanks!

I did not get to her if the groundhog saw his shadow or not. Please tell me that he did not see his shadow. We don't wan't 6 more weeks of winter.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Roscoe
When you talk about the weather and road conditions are bad could you at least mention when or if the plows are out? My husband drives at night to the west and we always have to quess if they might be out or not. Thanks

I like the weather updates during the morning show that is on till 9:00 am. But when there is a major winter storm coming, give updates on that. I could care less about what the weather is going to be in 7 days, since it will not be accurate anyway.

My husband is a big deer hunter and was wondering why you do not tell the wind speed for the 7 day forecast.

Any bad weather is important to me as I have to look over the safety of the children that ride my school bus.

Posted by: anonymous Location: Belvidere
Why were the Belvidere school children let out when we could clearly see the threat on the computer weather bug. then they were hustled into a home room with huge windows, you put those kids in the same line of fire as 1967 and I am mad at you

Posted by: Anonymous how come amcore bank temp. is 10 degrees different from t.v. station ? they say it is 50 degrees

You guys do a great job... I really like the 7 day outlook. It is nice to have an idea of what kind of weather is expected in order to do accurate planning. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I would like to have info on sky condition in our area as pertain to comets and other space events.

Posted by: Peggy Great job on the weather! I'm 13 and I love watching the weather on 23 news. I really want to be a meteorologist when i get a job. Keep up the good work!:)

Posted by: Dugan McCarten Hey Mark, have you thought maybe we didn't learn from the forty days of flood and now we're getting forty days of ice? c'mon buddy bail us out of this!

Posted by: Anonymous Your station does a great job !! all but the lady who does weather on weekends - talks too fast-i am sure you can do better.

Posted by: James Location: Rockford
Keeping up to date on the web page. I don't have alot of time to watch T.V. I rely on the web page for my news and weather.

Posted by: Douglas Location: Rockford
Your meteorologists do a good job, BUT they keep showing and mentioning "dewpoint." Most of us don't know what that means. We feel and know what "humidity" means, though. Talk dewpoint with other meteorologists. Talk to us about humidity, and please don't try to educate us about the other stuff.

WHEN WE ARE TOLD THAT REAL BAD STORMS ARE COMING, WE HAVE TIME TO PREPARE FOR IT. I ONLY WATCH 23 ACTION NEWS.
