Del Taco Closed

I wasn't surprised Del Taco closed. I was there once and wasn't impressed with the food. The prices were too high and the quality of the food was unacceptable. I think the top fast food "Mexican non authentic" place is Taco Bell and Taco John's second. There was no way that Del Taco was able to compete with them !!! The owner needs to stick to his Italian restaurant.

I was suprised it closed, I enjoyed their food. It was real fresh IMO. And they do good business on the West Coast anyway.

yes del tacos food was bad but taco johns isn't much better. there has been reports of a lot of food poisoning from them not cooking there food all the way through either. i think taco bell is better. they cook there food all the way.

my fiancee worked there and the boss didn't care about how to treat the workers. so the workers didn't care about the customers and cooking the food all the way. they picked the wrong location and needed to cook there food all the way.

After eating Del Taco i had to be hospitalized from Ecoli, a lawsuit is pending. A short time after they closed their establishment.

I never went there but my daughter did 1 time and got food poisoning. I tried to speak with the managers about it but no one cared. So I can see why it went out of business so fast.

okay , first off, only in rockford, would a taco bell be voted "best mexican" and papa johns best italian , i mean , c'mon , papa johns sucks even for a franchise. not to mention there are 100 autherntic italian restaurants in town , These goofballs who vote for best of rockford would probably vote mcdonalds best hamburger too.
