Did Epperson Rid Rockford of the "good ol' boy" System?
As the City Suffers
With this current speaking up of the losers of the Chief Position, What Gives?
The four that spoke up were a part of the "good ol' boy" system that finally ended.
If the city council had some new blood it would finally put it to rest.

Are they mad because Chief Epperson spoke the truth about the "Double Dipping"? Personally, I believe its true. Look where they live and the above normal comfortable lifestyle they live for being in law enforcement. Reminds you of a past fire chief doesn't it?
Leave Chief Epperson alone and STOP! wasting taxpayer's money on rhetoric.

What we need are more qualified police officers, less rhetoric from community leaders and communities that harbor criminals and yet critize the Officers for enforcing the law. Then waste taxpayers money on organizations for anti-violence when it is the responsibility as a citizen much less a community to stop it with in themselves. You shouldn't have to get paid so you can organize a march when it is OUR responsibility as citizens to gather and march in the first place.

Chief Epperson needs support and meetings and communication with the officers just as much as the officers are expecting from him.
It doesn't matter who is right or wrong now.

It's the shame I would feel being on either side to have let it gone this far and want the public to feel empathy for either cause and not let the public get involved.

These Public Servants no matter what department, no matter what position elected to, appointed to, shouldn't expect the public to tolerate this and then expect respect from the same public.

The really sad part to is that the media doesn't portray both sides, just the over inflated ego's now.
For Rockford to link its name to Chicago or any other city for that matter, it's just totally condescending now.
Rockford you need to find Your Own Identity now and solve your problems within.

Posted by: Phil having two jobs is not double dipping , and Judson is a priavte college, a crappy one, but a private college nonetheless. What bothers me is that his wife heads up the metro centre, too much power in the same bed. Fertile grounds for corruption.

if you beleive that "the good ol' boy" system isn't alive and well in rockford , you need to pull your a$$ off of your shoulders. the "good ole boys" are all around here, look at nicolosi, provenzano, gambino .... these names sound familiar? no, then you need to read more about organized crime.
