Annoyed Potential "Boomeranger"
Why are we continuing to spend time on study after study saying that Rockford needs both better educational opportunities AND more "young professionals" but not doing things to fix both of these situations? To attract the latter, we need both the former plus higher-paying jobs for the latter to do. Simply stating that Rockford has a lower cost of living is not enough to attract "Boomeranger" when one cannot get a decent education, nor a well-paying job, once one has said education (and "$15 an hour with benefits"--or less--for a job is not considered "well-paying" these days anywhere within the WIFR-TV viewing area).

okay , first off , if you want "young proffesionals " to return to rockford, we need jobs! we need good paying stable jobs, and i don't mean customer service, we need good high paying manufacturing jobs, why hasn't peter provenzano gotten more involved (btw MARRV is a joke, and supply core only bought Marrv to scratch their friends backs) we have a guy here who makes 140 million dolllars a year, why do we have so much trouble with the empty stockig fund?
