Boone County Cutting Sheriff's Overtime
I'm suprised there is no news of Boone County Board cutting Sheriff's overtime in half, even though the county is running eight deputies short. With overtime spent for shift coverage, the county still saved over $300,000.00.

Now with the Sheriff forced to run shifts short because of lack of overtime and manpower, citizen's are going to suffer delays in their calls being answered.

It will also cause a major officer safety issue with deputies handling domestics, alarms and etc. with no back up.

Hopefully people of Boone County will relize this, support your Sheriff and call a board member. I did!!
