The Thomson Correctional Facility will house federal inmates and no more than 100 detainees. What are your feelings on this decision?

    I dont think there is anything wrong with it. there are many prisons and they have the best security there is. think about it, we have murderers, rapists running our streets all the time. were in more danger on a daily basis living our lives. then to worry about a prison

    How many of these people protesting moving the detainees to this prison where also demanding Gitmo be closed. With the promise from the President that it was going to be closed they had to go somewhere. Illinois already has convicted terriorists in a prison in southern Illinois.

    the u.s. gov. held jap, and german prisoners during WWII I dont see how this is going to be much differant

    Good jobs and much needed spending for the locals. Income from income tax for the state. Get out of the dark ages and on the bandwagon for the income and move ahead.
