We went to the Hilander location in Roscoe for our H1N1 shots last Thursday. I had called for an appt. for my wife and myself and was told 2:05pm. We got there at 1:45pm and there was a crowd. I told the person working the check-in desk we had an appt. He said "that all went out the door with all the walk-ins." They didn't even have the printout of the people who had called and made their appt's like they were suppose to. It all seemed very disorganized. We did get our shots which I am glad of. They are still saying in the paper to call the 800# to make an appt. RIGHT! Alot of good that did!! Posted by: Doug Location: Northern IL How many of the listeners out there know about the Green Cleaning Act in Illinois. It put into effect when Governor Quinn was Lt. Governor. The people who helped create this act were in the cleaning supply business. The act mandates that all school use green seal cleaning supplies. But part of the problem is that their isn't a green seal disinfectant available. Disinfectants are classified as as pesticide because they kill germs, isn't that what they are meant to do. Maybe some of the listeners should check this out, just google it. The schools are following the mandates and laws that State sets up but maybe if the disinfectant was being used the schools it would help decrease the number of sick students. |
