I was at work, and I worked in a factory. I was in the mail room, and I was walking through the factory, delivering mail, and saw that everyone had stopped working, and they were watching tv. I asked what was going on, and I was told about it!

At the time i was in 8th grade and was running late for school, and i remember walking into school seeing a bunch of the younger kids crying and my class was on the 2nd floor and the same thing more of the older students were crying, I reached my classroom only to find my whole class sobbing or having a disbelive look on their face. I asked my teacher what had happened because all the tvs in every classroom were on and the was up to my classroom which i thoungt was kinda weird since our schools morning news had ended already. And he told me that the world trade center has just been hit by a plane and moments later the second plane just hit and everyone in the room just got quite and starting ed cry agian. For the rest of the day we had a class on what had happened and a open discussion and what had happen

I was stunned watching as we kept seeing the airplanes fly into the twin towers. My daughter came home from college that day scared and upset. I held her as I had not done in many years. Then I spoke a line I remembered from one of the many Pearl Harbor Movies, All we have done is awoke a sleeping giant.

I was sitting in my 8th grade history class and the principal came over the intercom and told the entire school that the world trade centers were hit by a plane over taken by terriosits. The school was silent for about five minutes until all of the teachers turned on the televisions throughout the school and began watching the news.

I was getting ready to start work and turn my tv on just after the first tower got hit and watched all day. In disbelief of what was unfolding before my eyes. To God be all the Glory! AMEN

I will never forget that bright sunny Tuesday morning. I was working for a company that provides services to retail stores. My assignment for that morning was to build bikes at DeKalb Target. I had not listened to the radio on the way down, so I didnot know about the attacks. I thought I heard on their receiving area radio about a fire at the WTC. I thought that NYFD was the best and that it would be no problem. Later on, about 12 PM, I asked Target employees about what I thought I knew and was told about the Attacks and the known aftermath. My heart sank to my knees because we had been attacked. I found the Target Manager on Duty and asked if I could go into the break room and watch the news. It was then that I saw on WIFR what had transposed in front of so many people live. Shortly thereafter, I asked if I could finish up and leave. I needed to be home so I could feel safe. That night, it was strange to not see any aircraft in the night sky except for military planes. It was so eerie

I remember sitting in my U.S. History Class (ironic I know) at Guilford High School. My teacher, who's name I can't remember, wheeled at tv into the classroom to let us watched the coverage as it happened.
