12 oz cranberries, fresh or frozen (thawed slightly)
zest & juice of 2 oranges
2/3 c sugar
1/2 c water
1 cinnamon stick
Put all ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer until the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens, about 20-30 minutes. May serve warm or cool. Remove cinnamon stick prior to serving (excellent if left with cinnamon in overnight). Makes 8 servings.
