Sausage and Apple Quiche


8 oz mild sausage
1 9" deep dish pie shell, unbaked
1 large apple, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
3 TBSP flour
2 TBSP parsley, chopped


Brown sausage in a skillet until crumbly and all color is gone. Drain. Spoon into pie shell. Saute onion and apples in the same skillet until brown (3 to 5 minutes). Spoon over sausage. Sprinkle cheese over apples and onions. Combine eggs, milk, flour and parsley. Pour over cheese until the pie shell is full. Bake at 375 deg about 40 minutes or until puffed and brown.
