4 1/2 Cups all Purpose Flour
2 tsp Salt
1tsp Dry Yeast
7oz Milk 2%
Garlic (roasted, fresh, minced, granulated - your choice)
Combine flour, salt and yeast in a mixing bowl. Combine milk and water in a measuring sup. Heat water and milk mixture until 100 degrees. Mix all ingredients together. Use a mixer if possible. It will make the job easier. Cover with a towel and let rise at room temp. for two hours.
Preheat oven to 450. Roll dough out with a rolling pin into a rectangle shape about 1/8” thick. Apply a thin coat of olive oil to dough. Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Garlic can be fresh or roasted and finely minced or granulated. Arrange sausage evenly on top. Roll up tightly beginning at the longest side. Stretch roll to make even and cut into 2” pieces. Place slightly apart on a greased pan. Cook till golden, usually under 10 minutes.
