Lino's Spicy Scallops


1lb scallops
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp dry oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil


Combine spices in a small bowl. Place butter and oil in a large fry pan. If possible use an iron skillet. Using low flame heat until butter is melted. Lightly flour scallops and place in fry pan. Sprinkle spice mixture over top. Cook for three minutes. Turn scallops. Sprinkle again with spices. Cook again for three minutes. Turn again. Cook for 2 seconds and serve.
