1 pkg (18 oz) refrigerated oatmeal raisin cookie dough
1/4 cup plain flour
1 egg white
1 cup dried fruit bits (or your favorite dried fruits, cut fine)
1 cup nuts (pecans and/or walnuts work nicely)
Preheat oven to 350 deg. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Let cookie dough stand at room temp for at least 15 minutes. Combine dough, flour, and egg white and stir to blend completely. Stir in fruit and nuts. Drop dough by TBSPfuls onto cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake about 15 minutes or until edges are brown. Cool a couple of minutes on cookie sheet before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
