Pasta with Basil Sauce Ala Lino


2 Medium Potatoes, diced
4 oz Green Beans
1 lb Pasta
40 Basil Leaves
1 tablespoon Pine Nuts
3 tablespoons Freshly Grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic
Salt & Pepper to Taste


Bring pan of salted water to boil and add potatoes and beans. Boil for 2-3 minutes, then add the pasta. Meanwhile put the basil, pine nuts, cheese, oil, and garlic in blender and mix until smooth. Place in a large bowl. Drain pasta and vegetables, keeping 3 tablespoons of cooking water to add to sauce. Put the pasta, vegetables, and cooking water in bowl with sauce and toss. Serve hot.
