Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 pc. sliced French bread, 2 1/2 in. thick, with small pocket cut into center
  • 4 eggs, whipped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 oz. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 oz. powdered sugar
  • 10 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup whipped cream

    Directions

    1. Mix eggs, cream, vanilla and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.



    2. Tuck sliced strawberries in side each pocket in French bread.



    3. Dredge through egg mix and cook over medium flame in Teflon coated skillet until browned on each side (approximately two minutes on each side).



    4. Place on serving platter top with whipped cream, powdered sugar and maple syrup.
